We had a previous Advantium Profile microwave for 18 years and it finally gave out. It was the perfect appliance in my opinion. The new Profile is not as functionally good as previous unit. I really liked the old dial and surrounding buttons on the old one. The new unit is also way more noisy. I am not satisfied with the current unit noise level when on high level. I will be calling for GE service to see if this unit is defective.

The microwave was supposed to have a warming feature and it doesn't. Also, there is an issue where the microwave doesn't work sometimes unless I push on the top of the door handle. It doesn't seem to engage otherwise.

It is very descent but very limited instructions on how to use all the settings. I had to go on line and ask AI how to do various things. Also disappointed in the air fryer portion and actually was not as good as expected and it would not go higher than 400 deg F. It is hard to sync the clock with my watch. Also on installation it was not real clear that I had to turn the exhaust fan to blow forward since we do not have teh ability to exhaust outside. Every thing else seems to work good

I don't believe ventilation is correct for our installation. I also believe it is advertised incorrectly. The wattage we were told was 1700w. Which i now see is input. Output is 950w. 950w was never shown on the card or emphasized by sales staff when purchasing. We were looking for something closer to 1500w. Disappointed.

Time Light on top is bight; hard on eyes. Rotating 'Plate' is poorly designed; hard to put into place. The old model we had a groove and kept it in stationary position while rotating. This tends to wobble around, and lose its position! Labels on control panel hard to read (small).

I've never even considered leaving a review for a microwave but this thing is awful. I could go into a long diatribe about how this thing doesn't cook anything well on the bake settings, it won't brown a pizza even if you give it a month. We had ours for exactly 3 weeks before I tried to use the convec bake option and the microwave MELTED ITSELF. I noticed the next day after a not cooked pizza, that the light in the microwave was not working, when I went to look at the bulb it, receptacle and the end of the bulb had been melted by the convec bake option. So instead of having a working microwave/air fryer/convection oven what we have is a broken microwave (because that's all It's safe to use it for) that has no light and the absolute worst controls I've ever seen, you can only set time with a dial in 15 second intervals and then adjust by 5 second intervals after you've started? Did you guys have anyone with half a brain use this thing before you made it? Just awful

Easy to install, easy to use. Oven, air fryer and microwave in one machine, display is big and bright. Good capacity and love the air fry feature. The exhaust fan is good, it vents though the wall to the outside. The cooking sensor is good specially during defrost.

Great new model

This multi-faceted workhorse is a great addition to my home kitchen. A much older model I had finally had to be replaced from old age and overuse. I was quite happy to find one in the same family by GE, but this time it arrived with a few more bells and whistles than I expected. I jumped at the chance to continue with a machine that already had provided a long and reliable term of service. I am quite pleased to now have a stronger exhaust fan, brighter stove light, and an easier intuitive keyboard to use when listing the time and use desired for microwave. I have had not tried the steam clean, or the Chef Connect yet, but I'm looking forward to mastering these new additions. The installation was easy and fast. The capacity of the oven is the same as I had before but I was quite happy to discover that it performs even better with even reheating and cooking than I was used to. This an an excellent unit and I am looking forward to trying new recipes to use the new improvements. Thank you!

Replacing four-year old same model that died

Had basically same model that made it to 4 yrs. 9 mos. and died. Very disappointed that the original died so early, and the day before I was supposed to get on a plane to be away for two weeks. But this one is the same, except for a different prefix on the model number, so it was a "simple remove the old one" and get this one up to the existing hanger bracket. Hopefully it lasts a little longer? Paid over $600 for the original and this one too... It Should Last! for more than 5 years....

Thus far this has been a wonderful convection microwave. It also has the capacity to air fry, but it takes much longer than my smaller air fryer so I am continuing on with what I already had. All in all, I am very happy with my micro convection oven. The young man who did the installation went above and beyond, and I am most appreciative. I have no issues with the ventilation. I love the features of bright and lower bright over the stove lights and the oven itself is Caverness. It was also very easy to figure out how to work. I am most appreciative of that.

We purchased this same oven maybe 10 years ago. Love the convection and the biggest difference from other brands is the 2 racks- we can get 4 pies in this thing!!! Other brands don't have rack or maybe just one. So with our convection oven- we can bake, Bake, BAKE. Capabilities of this oven are the same as the first one we bought because they are perfect.

Beautiful unit and fit perfectly in existing area with minimal issues when professionally installed. I would have liked to have a timer to put the surface light on at night, which wa a feature on my previous GE microwave unit. I was able to replace my countertop air fryer and toaster oven with this convection/microwave. I would have liked to have had a more instructive booklet on how to use the convection part of the unit. I don't really have a use for the microwave and was just looking for a compact option for air frying and small baking/roasting items since I hate using the large oven for a small one person dish. It takes some getting used to, using the dial to set the 'auto' or 'manual' when you don't know what is contained in the 'auto' option. This is also used to set the temperature. I wasn't sure, and still not sure if I can leave the microwave rotating glass in place when using the convection or air fry option, but so far it hasn't melted all over the bottom of the unit. The bad is I have to search out on the internet for content that shows how other people use their similar unit in order to learn how to use this one. Otherwise, I am loving the convenience, and how if I want to sell my home, this is an upgrade.

Love the ease of use. We bought it because it has a convection oven in the microwave. This is the third such OTR microwave we've had. But the air fryer is a bonus. My wife loves to air fry. The only problem is we can set the microwave only in 15-second increments. When directions call for miicrowaving the food for 70 second, we can't do that. That, so far, is the only complaint.

It replaced itself from 2003 when it was an "Advantium" and cost a whole lot more than this one did. This one is more flexible, has more options, and matches our 2-year old GE dble wall ovens in design/style. It has a lot of improvements, like venting straight up above the door instead and not out into the room and your face. It was great that all the outside-venting was in the same place and we could use the existing wall-mount bracket from the 2003 model. The last one was really hard to keep clean. This has a steam-clean feature I'm hoping makes a difference. We had to drill new cabinet-suspension holes, bcs of completely new placement of top cabinet screws. Since there were two people (imperative), it was a fairly straightforward change-out.
