Great accessory and easy installation. Lost one star because the rails they sent were both right side rails so I had to struggle to pry the stop out to re-orient and now its loose, still works but the stop hook pops off easily. Would be great if GE could send me a replacement rail for the left side.

I have to respond because I read the review that gave the shelf one star, on the same model dishwasher as I have. It must have been installed incorrectly as mine is great ™" slides in and out readily. Installation was a snap. I don™™t think the shelf is flimsy, it™™s not meant to hold heavy pans, just small utensils and other small items like ramekins. I™™m very glad I ignored that review and went ahead with my purchase!

I have a PDT775SYN which is listed as a compatible dishwasher. The rack can be installed but the tray is either poorly designed or out-of-spec. The tray is too wide for the rails so there is a ton of friction when sliding it in/out. It doesn™™t roll on the rails but rather you need to drag/scrape it open and closed. Overall product quality is poor- flimsy, low density plastic
If you have PDT775SYN, this isn™™t for you. Or possibly, the QA on this product is simply poor.

i bought a dishwasher model GDF640HGM0WW ABOUT 15 MONTHS AGO.
About 6 inch long black plastic holders for the sliders of 3rd rack were fixed at the top with only one screw on each side of the body whereas they should been fixed with two screws on each side. So, two screws were missing when manufactured. As a resuld one holder with slider fell of making it impossible to slide the rack in and out. A FACTORY DEFECT!

i bought a dishwasher model GDF640HGM0WW ABOUT 15 MONTHS AGO.
About 6 inch long black plastic holders for the sliders of 3rd rack were fixed at the top with only one screw on each side of the body whereas they should been fixed with two screws on each side. So, two screws were missing when manufactured. As a resuld one holder with slider fell of making it impossible to slide the rack in and out. A FACTORY DEFECT!

I purchased this accessory kit for my GE dishwasher and was glad I did so. Very easy to install and the extra rack is super useful. Great place to stick those spatulas and lids that fall through the upper rack. Definitely recommend!
