Straight forward nice sized; not too big and not too small. Large glass plate for turntable. Great capacity. Controls very easy to use. If you have no children just disable the safety door lock; instructions easy to follow. This microwave is ™very quiet™!!! Has 4 beeps at the end of a cycle. Heats evenly and well. I have the 1.1 CuFt. Plenty of wattage.

Minor disappointments

Being an older couple we needed a simple, small and dependable microwave. This unit is very much like our older Frigidaire unit that had run it's course for 9 years. We selected it especially for its size as we have an eye-level shelf that it needed to fit into. Seems to work well. The drawbacks for us are the huge electrical plug and the black front face. We purchased a white microwave as we have an all white kitchen but unlike our Frigidaire, this unit has a blatant black front. Why?

Just got this microwave and am unhappy that there is no way to mute/shut off the annoying beeping when any button is pressed. Luckily this is just a fill in machine until I can purchase a new over the range model that can be muted. It is also annoying that I can't post this review until I come up with a nickname that hasn't already been used by another reviewer.

I've been using my GE microwave for about a month. I have a small kitchen so it fits my size and capacity needs perfectly. My only concern is occasionally when I hit the start button I get error message "no food" and it won't start. I've learned over the internet to open the door and close and it resets and is fine after that. Just a little concerned about using longterm if this could become problematic. Aside from that I am pleased with this new microwave.
